The last bit of sun

A classic California view

It seems that everything I am inspired by lately has to do with Fall. Dark colors like this outfit, even a style photoshoot that hints towards cooler days. Even the articles I come across online are switching their summer-time features to the next season of crisp days and layers. I'm excited for this season, partly because last year I truly embraced a Michigan Fall and can't wait to do the same this year, but also because it means a season of changing style, beauty routines, even a fresh approach to work. However, before I look too far forward I'm going to cherish the last bits of Summer by gathering with friends, drinks on the porch, and fresh recipes that take advantage of the last bits of warm-weather ingredients.

Also, in a true new season change, I'm getting ready to head to New York, for my first Fashion Week trip! I can't wait to meet new faces at Lucky Fabb and a few other events going on during my quick trip. I'll be sharing little bits of the days on Twitter and on Instagaram (follow along @jaclygiuliano) so make sure to check it out.

Hope everyone has a lovely Labor Day weekend.

  1. I am so ready for Fall.....it has been a beautiful summer but I am itching for darker hues around me too..and the fact that the stores already have their fall lineup doesnt help. Now if only the weather will cooperate...we are back in 90's today in Cleveland! :(
Beautiful blog, by the way! :)

  2. Fall really is upon us, isn't it? Today I wore my fleece outside--there was no sun to be seen!!! Enjoy NYC!
