Life lately

Sunday morning spice pancakes that cam out pleasantly golden

 
I'm starting to think that a good portion of my life lately posts begin with the words "I can't believe how fast the weeks are going", but this time I really mean it (no promises as to when I will stop using that line). I'm a true creature of habit so when time speeds by, I tend to turn to those things that will always be familiar. Leisurely Sunday breakfasts and weekend appetizer nights are my soft spot and last weekend I made sure to indulge in both. I am however, extremely excited for the wind down of one year and the approach of a new one and feel a bit of a "look" change is in order. For now it's just little things like testing out new shoes and wearing different fabrics in new prints, but as the weeks go on, I think it would be fun to start mixing in a few more new things like hair, makeup, even home decor. Does anyone else find themselves looking for a bit of an appearance or lifestyle change near the end of the year?
