Tulle cloud

Recently I've been drawn to soft photos with washed out images, shots that are slightly obscured and remove any signs of a background. Heather and I ran with this inspiration along with yards of tulle, a soft white outfit, and a whimsical crown for a hint of sparkle in order to create a cloud-like environment. It's amazing to see how different the settings and looks can appear with just a few props and a bit of experimenting. It was something that pushed us beyond our comfort zones and in a completely different direction from a standard outfit shot. It was an exciting opportunity to take two creative minds and work together to shoot and style something new. I even wore the handmade crown around for the rest of the day just to keep the inspiration going and because the reflecting glitter was just too appealing to take off.

All photos by HMN Photography and floral crown made by me.

  2. Lovely images. I don;t know why, but I think of Lana Del Rey as I look through them.
