| The gorgeous ocean view from Solstace Canyon |
One of my new year's resolutions was to start hiking and to enjoy the mountains I've taken for granted growing up in California. I've been trying to work out consistently and it has become a big part of my life, but I felt like I wasn't spending much time enjoying the outdoors. Since the beginning of the year Paul and I have been on three hikes around LA and have already planned a handful more for the coming weekends. It's a great way to get the day going and has been an amazing source of rejuvenation after the work week. It makes my days feel longer which has given me the opportunity to sprinkle in some fun moments like a mid-work break at my favorite downtown locale and the energy to test out some new things as well. While this past week was busy and full of meeting new people while keeping up with life at home (and blogging duties), I really feel like my weekend hike made my Monday kick off in a refreshing way. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend, I'm off to Michigan next week for work so I'll be bundling up and bracing for some snow.

Stunning ocean view!.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous view! It must be so nice to have those kind of views "right in your backyard," as they say. Beautiful instagrams as well! What's in the Bottega Louie bag?

Love the idea of regular hikes–I found even just a little stroll around the 'hood after dinner makes me feel so much better!
